Hear Me Out: The former couple’s most intimate moments, via stolen videotape, went viral in 1995 – before there was such a thing – and infamously became a worldwide sensation.

Do you see where I’m coming from? Now here we are with social media being in everyone’s business.

Why isn’t there a series about it? Wait, we have you.

Three things to watch out for

‘Pam & Tommy’

Let’s start with how much Lily James and Sebastian Stan look like Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.

The Hulu limited series also stars Seth Rogen and Nick Offerman as illicit contractors.

It’s wild and also oddly nostalgic, with old-school VCRs and video cameras.

“Pam & Tommy” is currently streaming.

“Murderville”

There are so few original projects in Hollywood today. How not to be enthusiastic about an improvised detective show?

That’s exactly what Will Arnett imagined in this series, in which he plays a clumsy homicide detective.

While it’s definitely a trope, bringing in a different celebrity guest star who doesn’t get a script in every episode is what “Murderville” hopes will keep audiences coming back for more.

It’s streaming on Netflix.

How does a military hero end up imprisoned for murder?

In order to set up a scenario where the cops need his help, of course.

Alan Ritchson brings the role of Tom Cruise to the small screen in this Amazon Prime series, adapted from the popular Lee Child book series.

The show began airing on Friday.

Two things to listen to

BJ Thomas performs during the SeriousFun Children's Network 2015 Los Angeles Gala: An Evening Of SeriousFun on May 14, 2015 in Hollywood, California.

BJ Thomas was a beloved singer who featured in multiple genres including country, pop, and Christian music.

“In Remembrance — Love Songs & Lost Treasures” features previously unreleased tracks from “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head” artist, who lost his battle with cancer last year.
“The 18-song CD will include 13 previously unreleased songs, eight previously unreleased songs from the Warner-Reprise Records vault, four songs from a limited-edition direct-response album set in the ’90s, rare photos, outtakes recorded with the veteran songwriter/producer Steve Dorff,” according to music line.

The new album was released on Friday.

(L to R) Reginald Arvizu, Jonathan Davis and Ray Luzier of Korn perform at the Reading Festival at Richfield Avenue in England on August 26, 2017.

Korn was so excited about their new album, “Requiem”, that they decided to do a live event, titled “Requiem Mass”, on the eve of its release.

Holy shit, that’s genius!

Korn singer Jonathan Davis told Blunt magazine the new album ends with “The Worst Is On Its Way”, like “This is the cycle of life”.

He added: “I’m in a good time, I’m happy, everything is fine.”

“Requiem” was released on Friday.

something to sip

The late Cheslie Kryst attends the world premiere of "Like a boss" at the SVA Theater in New York on January 7, 2020.
The death of 30-year-old former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst has sparked many conversations about social media, mental health and the importance of keeping people in check amid this ongoing pandemic.

Kryst, who died by suicide, was beautiful, accomplished and seemed — according to her Instagram account — to be thriving.

But I find myself haunted by his essay for Allure magazine, written in honor of her 30th birthday, in which she spoke about her struggles and the internet trolls who seized on what they saw as her failures.

Throughout, her harshest critic was often herself.

“I’ve found that the most important question in the world, especially when asked many times and honestly answered, is: Why? Why earn more achievements just to reap another win?” she wrote. “Why chase another plaque, medal, or line item on my resume if it’s out of vanity rather than passion? Why work so hard to capture the dreams society taught me to want when I continue to find nothing but emptiness?

I pray that she now has the peace that seems to have eluded her in life.

Something to talk about

(Left to right) A$AP Rocky and Rihanna are shown at the 2021 Met Gala in New York City.
I couldn’t be happier to have Rihanna and A$AP Rocky expecting a baby (I love them together), but there’s a but.

We’ll never have a new album, will we?

As I smiled at how precious Rihanna looked with her baby bump, I couldn’t help but selfishly lament that RiRi in mommy mode doesn’t bode well for more music anytime soon.

But maybe she will surprise us with a special delivery?
