A man who allegedly led police on a dramatic three-hour chase through Melbourne was discovered having sex with his female passenger when the vehicle was finally pulled over.
The 27-year-old from Fawkner was with a 23-year-old woman when he allegedly drove the red Volkswagen Golf 100mph over the speed limit on Minns Road in Kurunjang around 11.45pm on Sunday.
Police chased the car and deployed tire studs at an intersection, puncturing two tires. But as the car slowed when the tires were removed, the driver reportedly did not stop.

Officers then called the Air Wing to also pursue the vehicle in the Melton area before it returned to the Western Highway.
At this point, the Volkswagen could only go about 40 km/h because the front wheels were down to the rims.
Police cleared remaining traffic in front of the car and deployed more spikes to the estate’s tunnel.
The car pulled up near Montague Street in South Melbourne just before 3am.
7NEWS understands that the police found the man and woman having sex in the car.
They were arrested and the man was charged with dangerous driving, driving without a license, indictable offense while out on bail, breach of bail and possession of a controlled weapon.
The woman was released without charge.
No one was injured in the incident and police have urged anyone with information or dash cam footage to contact them.
