Georgia couple charged with producing child sex abuse images using foster children

A Georgia couple are facing charges in connection with allegations that they ‘engaged in acts of sexual violence and a video documenting the violence’ with their two adopted children, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office said.

William and Zachary Zulock were reserved for Walton County Jail. Charges of aggravated pedophilia and sexual exploitation of children are pending, officials said.

We didn’t know if Zulock had a lawyer.

The investigation began on the afternoon of July 27, when investigators from the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division learned that someone was uploading child pornography, the sheriff’s office said. After speaking to the person, investigators were told another person was “producing child sexual abuse material with at least one child who lived in the home with the abuser,” the sheriff’s office said. in a press release.

After confirming the identities of the children and the alleged perpetrators, detectives executed a search warrant at a home that night in Oxford, about 30 miles southeast of Atlanta, authorities said.

“A small team dedicated themselves to moving directly to the children to ensure their safety while a team engaged with the adults at home, securing the scene,” officials said. “During the execution of the search warrant, evidence that the two adult males – the adoptive fathers of the siblings residing in the home – were engaging in acts of sexual abuse and a video documenting that abuse.”

The sheriff’s office thanked Walton County Schools for helping identify the children and the Walton County Division of Family and Children’s Services for their “compassion in caring for the boys.”

The investigation is continuing, officials said.
